In verse Matthew 5:43 it says ”You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy¨ Sometimes what you hear may not always be helpful in certain ways. If you continue to hate your enemy who has hurt you, you will bring negativity in your life. I understand that they did something wrong to you but, that doesn’t mean you should throw hate at them. If they’re not continuing to throw hate at you, then why should you do it? I get why you’re mad at that person but, you can’t hold grudges. You have to forgive them just like God has forgiven you. God didn’t hold grudges so why should you? Yes, you should love your neighbor but, also your enemies. Your enemies will try to get the best of you and they will try to bring you down. You can’t let them and you have to forgive them. But, in Verse 5:44 it says ¨But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” No matter what anyone has done to you, you need to forgive them and pray for them. They’re going to continue to live their life and you are still mad at them. It’s okay to forgive. Once you forgive, pray for them. Ask God why did they do those hurtful things to you? Once he reveal why they did it. Then you will know and you will be aware of the people that God wants to put in your life. What they did is the past so move on and keep seeking God not your enemies. Don’t try to think of ways to get back at your enemies. God has that under control. When you do good, he sees you as being the bigger person. So, love, pray and continue to give no matter how hurt you are. The best revenge is to continue to Seek God, Walk In God’s Spirit, Strive For Success, Have Faith and Continue to be Blessed.
