At Vinyard House of Prayer we have Youth Saturday’s. Where we teach the Youth about God’s word and build the Youth up to who God wants them to be. On August 2, 2014 we taught the Youth about anger. We taught them ¨What was anger?¨, the causes and effects of anger and what is the quickest way to respond to anger. Even though I knew what anger was I didn’t know the causes and effects of anger. The Youth Pastor (Damian) taught us so much and I’m thankful for that. I never really had an older brother to help me. But, I do have my brother in Christ and I love how he teaches The Youth about so much including me.

According to Wikipedia , the definition of Anger is ¨An emotional response related to ones psychological interpretation of having been threatened.¨

I’m pretty sure that this post can relate to anyone that’s reading this. Being angry at yourself or anyone is not healthy. I shared this just for you because I know that you been dealing with anger problems. Stop being so angry all the time and try to avoid it every way possible.

After our conversation about Anger, we had did a Poetry Gospel Cypher. The Poetry Gospel Cypher was actually my idea/vision and the church helped me let this vision come true. Which I am so thankful for them doing that for me. A Poetry Gospel Cypher is when anyone gets in a circle and say what ever is on their mind. The people in this circle tell their life stories and it’s also a stress reliever. So, if you feel like getting certain things off your mind then this will be great for you. Are you ready to join the circle? We also have a great word for you on Sunday as well. Don’t miss out because we are always looking forward to seeing you. This is not the only Saturday we did this. We had a Poetry Gospel Cypher last Saturday and we also watched a movie. We also had Popcorn and Pizza. This will be great for your kids as well. Let’s Get the Youth off the streets and bring them into the Church.

Here is a verse about anger…

Ephesians 4:26-27 NKJV

¨Be angry, and do not sin¨ do not let the sun go down on your wrath.

Nor give place to the evil.
